As part of Musselman Library's philosophy to explore creative and intellectual pursuits, the library actively collects leisure reading and viewing materials. These may include literary and genre fiction, popular nonfiction, documentary and feature films, and popular magazines. These items may be available in physical or electronic format, or both.
Created in 2012, The Cupola is Gettysburg College’s open access institutional repository, maintained by Musselman Library's Scholarly Communications office. It contains scholarly and creative works produced by faculty, students and other members of the Gettysburg College community.
Special Collections collects, houses, and preserves rare books, manuscripts, maps, art works, sound recordings, photographs, and other unique primary source materials which support selected instructional programs. Special Collections is also home to the College Archives and, therefore, acquires, preserves, and makes available records of enduring value which document College activities, functions, decisions, policies and programs.
